Individualized Treatment Programs – Detox, Rehab & Mental Health Care

We provide a comprehensive continuum of integrated behavioral health care services. Our modern treatment centers across the western U.S. offer a variety of inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. We provide adults with treatment for substance use and mental health disorders, as well as specialized teen behavioral health programs.

Northpoint’s Story

Who We Are

Northpoint was founded by a small group of individuals whose lives were once spiraling downwards as they battled their addictions. At some point, they all felt like they had hit rock bottom: ashamed, isolated, or hopeless.

Like many others in similar circumstances, they were made to feel that their addiction was due to a lack of self-control or willpower. Fortunately, they connected with specialists and support groups that helped them change perspectives.

They were challenged to go beyond their physical dependence on drugs and alcohol to address what was causing their addictions – the psychological factors.

This awareness of physiological and psychological factors and how they influenced addiction placed them on their road to recovery and became the foundation of Northpoint’s treatment philosophy.

Today, they are a living testimony that sober, healthy, and happy lives are entirely attainable. They appreciate just how fortunate they are to have beaten their addictions and strive to give hope and help to others battling their own addictions.

Since first opening its doors in Boise, Idaho, in 2009, Northpoint has opened several other locations.

We are all here for the same reason…to provide quality care to those seeking help. It has always been the top priority of Northpoint since I have been employed here, which is why I stick around. Saving lives and restoring relationships is embedded in our work, that means a great deal to me, and I know it does to the teams I get to work alongside as well.

What We Value

Our Mission

Since our founding in 2015, we have expanded to include a dynamic range of mental health and adolescent services, spanning four states, fifteen facilities, and growing. Like all great companies, we evaluate our business on a regular basis and calibrate to our core values and our mission as we serve our patient’s physical health, mental health, and addiction recovery needs. The Northpoint Core Values and Purpose is a doctrine we live by and, since its inception, has included a general treatment philosophy grounded in abstinence-based principles, meaning free from use of habit-forming medications upon discharge. We have historically defined what we do as follows:

“We deliver a safe, supportive environment for abstinence-based treatment of addiction and improved mental health.”

To determine the most evidence-based approach, we will continue to rely on our expert Interdisciplinary team of medical and psychiatric providers, nurses, clinicians, and caring support staff to thoroughly understand the individual needs of our patients. We are also mindful to adhere to state legislative requirements that influence treatment plans, discharge options, and risk factors. To avoid any unspoken assumptions or confusion, we believe it is important to be forthright in our efforts to expand our philosophy to allow for medication-assisted Treatment approaches, where appropriate, as there is now abundant evidence about what is proven to be effective. This does not mean that we are moving towards becoming a Suboxone clinic, a pain management clinic, or any other loosely associated reason to use potentially controversial medications. It does mean that we do what works in providing safe, highly individualized care and in doing right by every patient. We are moving forward with a refined definition of what we do as follows:

“We deliver a safe, supportive environment for recovery from addiction and improved mental health.”

Inpatient Programs

After you have completed our detox program, you can continue to finish treatment in our inpatient rehab. Through rehab, you will learn about the triggers and temptations that could cause you to relapse and form tools that you can use to avoid a return to use. Our treatment programs are personalized to your unique needs, giving you the best chance for long-term recovery.
